The Red Fan-worm(above) was seen at Edmonds,Washington State USA on one of the barge wrecks.
The other worm(right) was from Dodd Narrows BC.
They are filter-feeders and members of a very diverse group called Annelid worms to which the common earthworm also belongs.They secrete tubes, either hard or leathery, into which they quickly withdraw when a shadow passes over them
